Events in York - 2020
York is known affectionately as the 'festival town' due to its
proactive events coordination over many years. Many favourite events
from yesteryear include the ever popular Jazz Festival and the Flying
50s Car Race. Although these events are not currently on the yearly
calendar, many other wonderful events draw the madding crowd.
Visitors enjoy meandering through York's well preserved main street as
well as finding a suprising array of hidden boutique and antique shops
tucked away in courtyards and side streets. Visitors will also find
plenty of food houses and hotels as well as a superb range of
accommodation from historic B&Bs, hotels, motels and farm
stays.
You
can also find in the Avon Valley region, York's friendly neighbour
towns of Toodyay, Northam, Beverley and Brookton. More information can
