You&#8217;ll find wildflowers around the park and plenty of local fauna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>York Travelers Rest Caravan Park<\/strong><br>Camp kitchen, ablution amenities and a laundromat on site will ensure your human needs are well taken care of whilst you continue your country experience. Overnight or part of a month long adventure, York Traveler&#8217;s Rest Caravan Park offers weary travelers and their furry friends a relaxing and friendly stop over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>White Gum Farm<\/strong><br>For more inclusive seclusion, head 20 minutes east of York to White Gum Farm.<br>This dog friendly hidden gem, complete with a licensed bar and grill, a large water catchment, 4WD track and light aircraft runway, will capture your interest on so many levels (hint &#8211; look up in the trees).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Wandoo National Park<\/strong><br>There are a couple of locations where camping is permitted within the National Park. The easiest to find is along Helena Road where there is a well signed camping spot. Recommend 4WD. Is suited to campers (tenting), camper trailers and smaller vans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>York Caravan Park \/ Travellers Rest Caravan Park<\/strong><br>Located near the north end of town, close to the racecourse at the foot of Mt Bakewell.<br>Pets are allowed in this location that has &nbsp;the facilities to cater for overnight or extended stays for the \u201cGrey Nomads\u201d, couples, families and groups by offering tent sites, powered sites for caravans and motor homes (large and small).<br>2 Eighth Road York, WA 6302, Bookings:&nbsp;<a href=\"tel:0414510503\">0414 510 503<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are several free, or inexpensive, camping locations in and around York.
